Trees, shrubs, and planting beds chosen and placed to thrive in your specific spot — designed and installed by one team with 40+ years of Bay Area experience.
Twin Palms Landscape designs and installs planting and softscape: trees, shrubs, and planting beds suited to Marin’s climate and soil. The goal is beds that fill in and stay healthy for years, rather than plantings that struggle or outgrow their space. We are licensed and insured (C27 #655747) with 40+ years of Bay Area installation experience.
Each project starts with a free on-site visit. We look at sun and shade through the day, soil and drainage, slopes, existing plants worth keeping, and how you use the space, and we talk through the look you want and how much upkeep you are comfortable with.
We then lay out the beds and plant selection, prepare the soil, set trees and shrubs at the right spacing for their mature size, and finish beds with mulch or other ground cover. Planting is coordinated with irrigation so new plants have the water they need while they establish.
Because irrigation, planting, and artificial turf are handled by the same team, there are no handoffs between separate contractors. One point of contact plans and installs the beds, the water that supports them, and any turf areas around them.
We work throughout Marin County, including Mill Valley, Tiburon, Belvedere, Larkspur, Ross, San Anselmo, and Sausalito, and across the wider San Francisco to Petaluma area.
Yes. We recommend trees, shrubs, and bed plantings based on your site’s sun, soil, and space, along with the look you want and the level of upkeep you prefer.
Yes. We install trees, shrubs, and planting beds, and we can plan them together so the whole area works as one design.
New plants need regular water while they establish, and most planted areas benefit from an irrigation zone of their own. Since we also install and repair irrigation, we can set that up as part of the same project.
In the Bay Area, fall and the cooler months are often a good time because milder weather and rain help roots establish, but planting can be done through much of the year with proper watering. We can talk through timing for your project during the estimate.
